MCA vide notification dated 4th April 2016 has amended the Companies (Filing of Documents and Forms in Extensible Business Reporting Language) Rules, 2015. Through the amendment, housing finance companies are also exempted from filing form AOC-4 XBRL.

Currently companies in Banking, Insurance, Power Sector and Non-Banking Financial companies are only exempted from XBRL filing.
