Mr. Abhishek Sethiya is an Advocate, Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and Commerce Graduate. He has over 15 years of experience including the position of CS & Legal Head at different MNC’s and consulting firms.

Mr. Abhishek has served more than 200 companies as a corporate legal consultant. He is interested in corporate laws and commercial laws and his area of expertise includes:

• Compliance & Advisory into corporate & commercial laws;
• Corporate Transaction Advisory including Drafting/ Negotiation of Shareholders Agreements, Share Purchase/ Sale Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements in terms of the [Indian] Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws and conducting legal due diligence on the target Indian company;
• Advisory on cross border investment;
• Litigation Management at different levels (Civil Court, High Court, Tribunals);
• Appearance before various government authorities and representing client companies;
• Legal Due Diligence for different purposes;
• Drafting & vetting of multiple type of agreements & documents
• M&A and Business Restructuring Advisory (including demerger, acquisition, asset sale & slump sale);
• Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency related services including filing of Insolvency Petitions on behalf of Corporate Debtors, Financial Creditors, and Operation Creditors and advisers to Insolvency Resolution Professionals & Insolvency Professionals;
• Approval matters at ROC, RD and NCLT/NCLAT;
• Creation of private trust, gift deed and their registrations at appropriate authority.
