Rights Issue Fund Raising Amid Covid

CP, on 16th May 2020, orgsnised a Webinar on “Rights Issues by Listed Companies for Fund Raising amid COVID pandemic.

In the webinar, our Partner, Capital Market Services, Ms. Anjali Aggarwal, Market Services was one of the panelists.

Anjali Aggarwal, in her detailed presentation, gave an overview of the legal and practical aspects of raising funds by listed entities through rights issues in accordance with the SEBI Regulations. She opined that in the current scenario of regulatory relaxations, rights issues seemed to be an economical and preferred route for raising funds, consolidating promoters’ holdings and infusing confidence in the investors. In addition to the legal and procedural requirements, she lucidly discussed the various steps involved in various types of rights issues.
