Generally, the Registrar reserves the name for company under incorporation for a period of 20 days and in case of change in name of company the Registrar reserve the new name for 60 days. Apart of this, in case of LLP, the Registrar reserves the name for new LLP incorporation/ change of name for a period of 90 days. In view of difficulty faces by stakeholders in lockdown, names expiring any day between 15th March, 2020 to 03rd May, 2020 would be extended by 20 days beyond 03rd May, 2020.

Apart of this, SRNs where last date of Resubmission (RSUB) falls between 15th March, 2020 to 3rd May 2020, additional 15 days beyond 3rd May 2020 would be allowed. However, for SRNs already marked under NTBR, extension would be provided on case to case basis.
