National Company Law Tribunal (“NCLT”) vide its notification dated 28.03.20020 has extended time period for closure of all NCLT Benches as directed by NCLT in its erstwhile notification dated 22.03.2020 in view of the lockdown proposed by several State Government and Central Government due to COVID 19 till 14.04.2020. All other directions of notification dated 22.03.2020 shall be remain intact as per the said notification.
Further, NCLT vide its notification dated 24.03.2020 has also held that the order of Hon’ble Supreme Court in WP-03/2020 is binding on everyone in India. Hence, limitation period shall not run against any of the parties.
